Founded in 1932 by Jim Schammerhorn & later purchased by his son-in-law Vernon Matthews

1976

Fred Wendt purchased the company. His son, Kendall, started sweeping floors & driving the delivery van

1996

Kendall Wendt purchased Schammerhorn from his father, Fred

2016

Lisa Hayse, Kendall's daughter, started working at Schammerhorn

2019

Lisa Hayse, became Managing Partner and Co-Owner with father Kendall
