President/CEO
Kendall Wendt is a life long resident of Wichita, Kansas.   He previously attended school at Kansas State University and Wichita State University.  Schammerhorn, Inc. is a family-owned company, which Kendall is the fourth owner since 1932 and he is in his 42nd year in the window treatment industry.  Kendall is a factory certified product specialist for the following companies: Springs Window Fashions, Hunter Douglas, Kirsch/Levolor and Mecho Shade Systems.
-Kendall’s community involvement includes: Race for Freedom & ICT SOS (the local organization fighting against human trafficking). His is an avid sports enthusiast for Kansas College football & BASKETBALL.

Vice President of Sales/Commercial Sales

Bob has been in the window covering business for over thirty-four years and works primarily on the Commercial Sales side with Schammerhorn.  With a diverse background in the industry, he is comfortable answering any questions customers may have in regards to their window treatment needs.  A graduate of Wichita State, he lives in Derby with his wife of over thirty years, Tammy and their teenage daughter Kylie.  Bob along with his daughter, enjoys coaching youth soccer and basketball and is an avid, lifelong fan of the Chiefs, Royals and of course the Shockers.

Lisa Hayse

Business Manager/Residential Sales

Lisa has been a member of the Schammerhorn team since 2016. She was born and raised in Wichita and attended Pittsburg State University (Go Gorillas!) for her undergraduate and masters degree. She is a Hunter Douglas Certified Consultant and is well versed in the many product lines from Graber, Springs Window Fashions, Lafayette Interior Fashions, Horizons Window Fashions, Norman Window Fashions, and many more.

In addition to hard window treatments, Lisa has experience finishing off your window with drapery, side panels, and/or cornices and valances. Let’s have fun decorating your home and meeting your needs at the same time!

Peggy is the face you see when you walk in the door and the voice you hear when you call the store! She’s been a valuable member of our team for over 4 years and her knowledge of our product lines and what we can repair are helpful to all who stop by or call in. She helps manage product that we receive in, schedules our installs and make sure everything flows smoothly for our customers. If you need anything, give her a ring.  She will get you taken care of!

Roger is our longest tenured installer on staff. He has been with us for over 11 years! A hard worker and willing to go the extra mile, we look to him to lead our team of installers on large projects. He has experience installing all the brands we carry including manual and motorized shades. He is also our go to guy for repairs as he has the patience and steady hands needed for this type of intricate work.
