DIRECT SALE

• Account receives Design Trade pricing and purchases from Schammerhorn directly so they can add a markup and sell to their clients
• Account is responsible for 50% (unless otherwise specified) deposit upon order and final payment upon installation. No payment is accepted from the Account's Client
• Product shipped directly to Account or Client requires payment in full at time of order
• W-9 Required
• Sales tax will be charged unless a Kansas Resale Exemption Certificate & Sales Tax Registration Certificate are provided.

COMMISSION

• Account receives 10% commission on product only (2% commission on window film). Commission is not included for the following: freight, install, items sold at cost, samples, and tax.
• No billing required by the Account
• Account's Client is responsible for the 50% (unless otherwise specified) deposit at the time of order and final payment upon installation, directly with Schammerhorn.
• W-9 Required
• Account will be furnished a 1099 at year end
• Commission checks are mailed after final install has been completed

TERMS & CONDITIONS

• HOW WE WORK - In our experience selling to the trade, we've found that the best possible end result comes when Schammerhorn works with both the Designer/Trade Account and the Client for the entirety of the project. Please plan to be at any scheduled consultation with your Client. If alternate arrangements need to be made, contact the office in advance
• CONSULTATIONS - Initial consultations within 25 miles of the Schammerhorn store are complimentary. If your Client lives outside of this area, mileage charges will occur.
• QUOTE & ORDER DETAILS
  • Deposits (50% unless otherwise specified) are required and must be received before product is ordered. They can be made over the phone via credit card, or in person with cash, check, or credit card. Schammerhorn does not keep credit cards on file. If product is being shipped directly to the Designer or Client, payment in full is required at the time of order.
  • Designer / Account Provided Measurements: Schammerhorn takes no responsibility for mis-measures, incorrectly provided measurements, or incorrect product specifications. Measurements are required to be given in writing via email or in person.
  • Design Trade Account is responsible for confirming and verifying accuracy of all items shown on quote
  • Due to the custom nature of our work, orders are non-refundable once deposits have been received.
• INSTALLATION - Items purchased and installed at separate times will incur an additional service charge. If out of town, mileage charge will be added.
• DAMAGES & DELAYS - In the event product(s) arrive defective, or are not to specification (as occasionally will occur with custom made products), Schammerhorn & it's Manufacturers will choose to repair or replace products, whichever is deemed appropriate. Schammerhorn makes ever effort in good faith to provide product and perform its services within reasonable time frames. These circumstances may create an inconvenience and/or delays in job completion, but does not entitle the Account or Client to financial consideration, right of cancellation, or refund.
• INVOICING - Invoices are sent via email (primary) or mail (secondary) upon installation completion and can be paid over the phone via credit card, or in person with cash, check, or credit card. Balance is due upon receipt.
• SAMPLES - Account is responsible for all sample books / samples that are checked out. Replacement costs will apply if samples are damaged or missing when returned.
• REBATES - Some manufacturers offer rebates throughout the year. Rebates are only eligible for the end user (Client) and will not be provided to the Designer / Trade Account for personal use. Schammerhorn is not responsible for ensuring the Account or Client orders within the specified rebate dates. Rebate time frames and specifications will be included with the initial quote when applicable.
• PHOTOGRAPHY - We reserve the right to use Schammerhorn images taken of the project before, during, and after installation and share on social media, our website, and other marketing or business avenues. We will always credit the Design Trade Account and ensure no personal information about the client is being shared.
